After following Marieke’s kennel (vom Dürrbächler Wald) in Holland for several years, Jeannette and Emily went to visit a litter in April 2017 and choose a special girl (Mädell) to come and live with us in the UK as a potential new breeding line. Whilst there they fell in love with a male puppy called Matthias (now Matt) who they also selected to come to join us.
Matt is a gentle giant, so calm, steady and loving. His world revolves around his family and he is incredibly loyal and especially adores Emily. He is always happy and very rarely naughty unlike his sister who often leads him astray. Matt has a big heart and just wants cuddles all of the time.
Matt has had a superb start to his show career winning many awards. Some notable achievements include: Best Minor Puppy in show at the BMDC of GB Championship Show, Reserve Best Puppy in Show at the BMDC of GB Championship Show, Best Puppy in Breed at South Wales Kennel Association, Best Puppy In Breed at Midland Counties, Best Puppy at the NBMDC Superleague 2017 competition, graded Very Promising at the World Dog Show 2017, Crufts Qualified.

1st Green’s Matthias Vom Durrbachler Wald At Waldershelf (Imp NED) a 12-month-old powerful looking male who is well boned and has pleasing substance of body. He has a head shape with the proportions and expression that I liked. Dark correctly shaped eyes which I preferred to 2nd. He is true in front and has good width across the chest. Well bodied with broad strong loins. He is of moderate construction and has nothing in exaggeration. One that has great promise and a basis for sound development with maturity.

1 Green’s Matthias Vom Durrbachler Wald at Waldershelf, D, just 12 months of good size and calm disposition. Super head with a beautiful yet masculine melting expression, deep dark almond shaped eyes, correct ear set and used at all times. Chest developing well, strong bone throughout, well-held strong level topline on the stand and when moving. Good lay of shoulder, just a tad short in upper arm but stands on excellent straight front, good turn of stifle and tight cat like feet. Moved with good drive, very collected despite his young age and sound profile. A bright future ahead. RBOB.
