Alex

Alex

Alex, Arvella Alexander, was the dog that caused Steve to take a special interest in health matters. Alex was diagnosed with lymphosarcoma at the age of just 19 months in 1988. In this days this invariably meant just a  few months left but thanks to the invaluable help of Cambridge Veterinary School Alex help take the boundaries of treatment for this disease into uncharted territory and survived until after the age of 5 years. During this time Alex helped raise thousands of pounds for Cambridge veterinary research and was invited to several special events.
