We attended Crufts for all four days and were delighted to share a few days with overseas friends new and old as well as our ‘Team Waldershelf’ puppy owners.

On the morning of the first day we took all the dogs for a walk with our Swedish and Danish visitors around Kenilworth Castle.

Later in the day we attended Crufts with our puppies Erik and Edna as well as Hattie to do a stint on the Discover Dogs booth. This is a very busy time especially for the dogs but it really does help to promote the breed to the general public and our dogs thoroughly enjoy themselves being touched by hundreds of people.

On the second day we attended, for breed judging like everyone else, with lot of hope but no expectation – but what a brilliant day we had!

Erik 1st Puppy Dog and then Best Puppy in Breed, Edna 3rd Puppy Bitch, Hattie 3rd Veteran Bitch.

Other Waldershelf success were; Kaos ‘Waldershelf Causing Kaos’ 2nd Puppy Dog, Phoenix ‘Waldershelf Fancy Phoenix 3rd Puppy Dog, , Skye ‘Waldershelf Ethel’s Way to Padiky’ 5thPuppy Bitch. We were so proud of all of our breeding getting placed.

We has a fantastic weekend with matching results at Rochdale Canine Society Open Showand North Lincs Canine Society Open ShowErik won Best of Breed  and Working Group 3 and Puppy Group 1 at both shows. Hattie was awarded Reserve Best of Breed at both shows aswell. However at North Lincs Erik went one better than the day before and was awarded Best Puppy in Show!
