01 Jul July 2015

July was a rather quiet month for us on the show front (partly because we missed show closing dates due to being on holiday) but we did manage to visit a few shows and Erik won a very large Junior class at Leeds Championship Show.

** Hip and Elbow Results**

We are so proud of the brilliant results Erik and Edna achieved in there health/breeding tests.

Erik – Hips 0:0 Elbows 0:0

Edna – Hips 3:3 Elbows 0:0

However the big event for this month was Stephen and Jeanette’s trip to St Petersburg in Russia where Stephen was invited to be Head Judge at the Sennenfest. We had a wonderful trip in a magnificent city we thank our host for taking us to see the sights as well as have a great evening at the ballet and sample some Russia culture as well as lots of vodka! There were some great dogs at the Sennefest and it was lovely to catch up with old friends as well as make new ones and everyone we had the pleasure of spending time with really made our time in Russia even more enjoyable. A trip we will never forget! Big Thanks to Sergey!

Whilst Stephen and Jeanette were away in St Petersburg Emily went on a road trip to Cornwall for Paignton Championship Show where she had a brilliant day as Erik and Hattie both won their classes and Edna (who was completely out of coat) came 2nd in a large junior bitch class.
